Spark Fund
What is the Spark Fund?
In alignment with the transformative 25×25 initiative, the BC Parks Foundation is offering funding to community-serving groups that engage members of underserved communities in outdoor activities within BC Provincial Parks. Eligible groups can apply for funding between $2,000 and $10,000 to support their projects.
This initiative is rooted in a commitment to equitable access. Groups should be motivated by one or both of the two following criteria:
- Facilitating new experiences and accessibility by spending time outside in nature.
- Promoting stewardship by collecting nature observations.
Safety should remain a top priority for all projects.
Get Involved:
The BC Parks Foundation has recently transitioned to an online grants management system, Fluxx, which streamlines the application process. To express interest in the Spark Fund, please visit our grants portal here and register using the “Spark Fund Registration” option. If you submit a registration request after the submission deadline, please note that response times may be delayed.
Current Intake:
The application period is open, with a submission deadline of March 31st, 2025.
